Jon McHenry’s comments in The Boston Globe regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ claims to have helped borrowers as California Attorney General:
But there’s still risk for Harris given mortgage rates are higher now than they were a few years ago under Trump, said Republican pollster Jon McHenry.
“The big counterpunch, and I think it would work especially well in the debate … is, ‘OK, you had a case against them. But the real problem with people and their mortgages is that nobody can afford a house anymore because of the economy and what you and Joe Biden have done to it,’ ” McHenry said.
